What Mended does

A bowl that mends

Your days without contact fill a broken bowl with gold, the way the Japanese art of kintsugi repairs pottery. Milestones come with small rituals. If you slip, you restart kindly and keep your total days.

When you want to text them

Breathe with a slow circle, read the reasons you wrote when you could see clearly, write everything you would send and let it go, then do one small thing instead.

Every day, a little support

A check-in with a mood and a note, a private journal with a new question each day, and a 60-day reading path written by hand for where you are.

Questions

What is the no contact rule?

It means not messaging, calling or checking on your ex for a set stretch of time, often 30 to 90 days, so the wound can heal instead of being reopened. It is not a strategy to win someone back and it is not a punishment.

How long should no contact last?

There is no exact number. Many people find thirty days is the first stretch where things feel different, and sixty to ninety is where they feel steadier. Your own pace is the right pace. If you share children, a home or a job, aim for low contact: brief, polite, written and only about logistics.

Is Mended free?

The counter and bowl, the urge tool, check-ins, the journal, the first seven readings, app lock and reminders are free. Mended Pro opens days 8 to 60, twelve guides, a vault for unsent letters, insights, milestone rituals and bowl themes. Choose a yearly plan with a 7-day free trial, a monthly plan or a one-time lifetime purchase.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your counter, check-ins, journal and letters are stored only on your phone. There is no account, no ads and no tracking. You can lock the app with Face ID or your passcode and use discreet notifications.

Is Mended therapy?

No. Mended is a companion, not therapy or medical care. If a breakup is affecting your sleep, eating or safety for weeks, a therapist or your doctor can help, and crisis lines are one tap away in the app and on our help page.
